While playing with Facebook Chat I wondered if it supported emoticons. Turns out it does. But when I tried the >:-) emoticon (a 'devil') and saw it printed as boring text, I wondered, "what smilies does facebook actually support?"
So with the help of Safari and some javascript hacking I present to you a complete list of facebook emoticons.

Is there any way to disable
Is there any way to disable the emoticons in comments on pictures and what not? I find them extremely aesthetically unappealing, so if there is no option already, could you make it an option? If possible, an option to disable them in Facebook Chat as well would be great, but one thing at a time, I suppose

u can also underline stuff
u can also underline stuff by writing want u want between _ and _.... for example.. _i am the best_ will come underlined..
stuff written between asterixes will be bold..
u can put them together too..
